Not all cats like to be scratched behind the ears.
Decided to give the gray marker a shot again. I think the real problem with all this real media is that my inks aren't as good with the regular pencil. The red pencil makes my inks better because they don't blend into the inks. Only problem is that I can't erase them when I want to color something. It's an interesting slog.
Sometimes I feel the same though about my inking. More often then not I end up liking my pencil work better even though it's really sketchy and scribbly :I
well that's why I switched over to the red pencil in the first place, but unfortunately without the use of a computer, I can't do a thing with the lines to get rid of them before coloring a piece. I basically have to choose whether or not I'm going to color something before I even start it. Makes for a frustrating day when I do all that and then screw it up in the first swipe of the brush. Such is life and such is art.
Indeed indeed. I've had to restart numerous comics or try to make weird fixes. Heck one of mine I actually had to use the copying machine at school after I attempted to use white out. Actually worked pretty well after I re-drew some lines with the pen.
